Dragons Baseball wins big at the Chihuahuas’ Stadium

The Da Vinci Dragons baseball team was selected by the El Paso Chihuahuas organization to participate in a rare "High School Night" on the big-league field. The teams participating were selected due to their great success on the field this year. Da Vinci and Cathedral have met on two other occasions with Da Vinci coming out on top each time they have met. At the game Friday, April 16, hundreds of Da Vinci teachers, parents, students, and administration showed up to support their team and cheer them on to victory!

"The game was hard-fought. Fortunately in the seventh inning, we got the hits to put us on top. Defensively, we played well and had great pitching by our senior Adrian Ochoa. It was a great night for the whole district. Teachers, staff, administrators, and our beloved superintendent came out to support us."
—Angel Torres, DV Baseball Coach
