Vista del Futuro will be celebrating Dr. Seuss’ birthday with a Seuss-themed spirit week. Please see below for the themes for each day:

• Monday, March 1: Mixed Up Monday: Wear mixed up clothing, like backwards/inside out shirts, etc.
• Tuesday, March 2: Top Hat Tuesday: Wear your favorite hat!
• Wednesday, March 3: Wacky Wednesday: Wear your wackiest socks!
• Thursday, March 4: Theodore Thursday: Dress like your favorite Dr. Seuss character!
• Friday, March 5: Funny Food Friday: Wear green!

Vista del Futuro will be having their Picture Day retakes for those who missed the fall picture day or want a retake. Enter through the front gate, slowly drive around the back of the school, and park on the side of the cafeteria. Temperatures will be taken prior to entering the building.

Vista del Futuro tendrá sus día de retoma para todos los que se perdieron el día de la fotografía o quieren volver a tomar sus fotografías. Por favor, entre al estacionamiento y siga directamente hacia atras del edificio, maneje despacio, hay clases afuera. Cada estudiante necesitara que se le tome la temperatura antes de poder entrar por las puertas de la cafetería.

The 2019-2020 school report card for Vista del Futuro is now available. The Texas Education Agency issues the school report card annually and each school sends the report card to parents. All parents should receive a letter with details about the report card as well as a copy of the full report card. You may read the full letter and report card here. The school report cards and other accountability information is always available from the accountability page accessible from the Parents menu above.

The Vista Toy and Winter Clothing Drive was a huge success! We collected over 700 items from blankets to jackets to toys. We will be able to donate to three shelters: the Annunciation House, Bethel Orphanage and Women’s Shelter. Click or tap any picture below to enlarge.

Vista del Futuro is having Spirit Week from December 14-18! Participation is free! Students not participating in the day’s theme must wear their uniform. The themes for the week:

• Monday, December 14: Holiday Morning – Wear your pajamas to school!
• Tuesday, December 15: Winter Wonderland – Strut in your best winter clothes
• Wednesday, December 16: Santa’s Workshop – Come dressed in red, green, and white
• Thursday, December 17: Christmas/Winter Character – Dress up as Santa, elves, ornaments, etc.
• Friday, December 18: Ugly Sweater – Show off in your festive and ugly sweaters!

Vista del Futuro will be collecting toys and winter items through December 18, 2020. The class with the most donations will win a pizza party! Boxes will be available in front of the school, allowing contactless drop-off. Some of the most needed items:

• Toys
• Blankets
• Jackets (new/in good condition/washed)
• New socks
• Gloves
• Winter wear
