The City of El Paso will be offering free COVID-19 vaccines and flu shots at Da Vinci on Friday, December 17 from 1:30-4 P.M. COVID-19 vaccines are available for children 5 to 17 years old. Flu shots are available for anyone 2 years and older. Vaccines are free and no appointment is required. For more information, see EPCOVIDVaccine.com.

The Da Vinci Family would like to invite you to the 2021 Winter Festival. The Da Vinci orchestra, band, and choir will perform on December 14, 2021 starting at 6 P.M. The Da Vinci dance and guitar classes will perform on December 15, 2021 starting at 6 P.M. Both days’ events will be held in the Da Vinci auditorium.

Da Vinci will be hosting many Halloween-themed events on Friday, October 29.

• Early Release: Grades 6-7 will be dismissed at 1:00 P.M. and Grades 8-12 will be dismissed at 1:30 P.M. Halloween costumes will NOT be allowed during school hours! Costumes can only be worn during the dance.
• Da Vinci Haunted Hall of Terror: Admission is $2. 4:30-6:30 P.M. (Trailer
• Community Trick-or-Treat: Da Vinci High School Building from 4:30-6:30 P.M.
• Halloween Costume Dance: Admission is $3. The dance will be in the Da Vinci Auditorium from 4-6:30 P.M. No revealing costumes, no weapons, no masks! (Face coverings for COVID are okay)

Dr. G. and his leadership team would like to take this opportunity to encourage you to sign up for the Superintendent’s Leadership Academy 2021-2022. After all interested candidate names are collected, they will be reviewed for eligibility by Da Vinci administration. Those selected will be notified shortly thereafter. We look forward to continuing the long tradition of leadership, and with your help we can make that happen!

The purpose of the Superintendent’s Student Leadership Academy is to foster leadership in young people. Members attend monthly meetings throughout the school year, led by our Superintendent, on leadership related topics, as well as visiting local and state colleges. Various leadership exercises will be discussed and practiced during leadership meetings, and participation in the program will give students eligibility into the National Hispanic Institute. Upperclassman will have the opportunity to visit our State Capital Building and watch our Legislature in session and meet with local and state representatives.
