The Linguistic Academy of El Paso will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week from October 28-November 1, 2024. No jeans are allowed for any day. Participation is free! Students not participating must wear their uniform.

• Monday, October 28: Go red, for Red Ribbon! Go Red for Red Ribbon week! Wear as much red as possible!
• Tuesday, October 29: Team up against drugs! Wear your favorite sports team jersey!
• Wednesday, October 30: In My Drug Free Era Rock out drugs! Dress up in your best rocker outfit or Taylor Swift attire!
• Thursday, October 31: Scare off drugs! Wear your best costume. No masks and no weapons.
• Friday, November 1: ¡Celebra cultura! Celebra cultura, not drugs! Dress up as your best calavera to celebrate Día de los Muertos.

• jueves, 31 de octubre: Scare off drugs! Ponte tu mejor disfraz. Sin máscaras ni armas.
• viernes, 1 de noviembre: ¡Celebra cultura! ¡Celebra la cultura, no las drogas! Vístete como tu mejor calavera para celebrar el Día de los Muertos.

The Linguistic Academy of El Paso will be celebrating Dr. Seuss’ birthday with a Seuss-themed spirit week from March 4 to March 8. Please see below for the themes for each day:

• Monday: Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss! – Dress as your favorite Dr. Seuss character/Dr. Seuss
• Tuesday: Cat in the Hat Day – Wear funny/silly hat with uniform
• Wednesday: Twin Day – Grab a friend and dress up as twins! No jeans.
• Thursday: Fox in Socks Day – Uniform with crazy/silly socks
• Friday: Oh, the Places You’ll Go! – Wear your favorite college shirt with uniform bottoms

La escuela celebrará el cumpleaños del Dr. Seuss con una semana de espíritu con el tema de Seuss. Consulte a continuación los temas de cada día:

• Lunes: Feliz Cumpleaños Dr. Seuss – Vístete como tu personaje favorito de Dr. Seuss

In honor of the celebration, students will be allowed to dress up and paint their faces to celebrate those who are no longer with us on Thursday, November 2.

• Monday, October 23: Start of Red Ribbon week! Wear as much red as possible.
• Tuesday, October 24: Team up against drugs! Wear a shirt or jersey from your favorite team.
• Wednesday, October 25: "Lei" off drugs! Wear your lei with any Hawaiian style shirt or dress.
• Thursday, October 26: Drugs are crazy! Wear a funny hat or funny hair and your craziest socks with uniform.
• Friday, October 27: My future is bright, drug free! Dress in neon-colored clothes.
• Monday, October 30: Put drugs to sleep! Wear your favorite pajamas. (Must be school appropriate with regular shoes.)
• Tuesday, October 31: Scare off drugs! Dress up as your all-time favorite character or superhero. (NO weapons or masks will be allowed)

• martes, 31 de octubre: Día del personaje: Vístete como tu personaje o superhéroe favorito. NO se permitirán armas ni máscaras.

Inviting all active military and veterans to breakfast on Thursday, November 10, 2022, at 9:00 AM. We will be serving coffee, orange juice and a lite pastry. Our students will be singing patriotic songs. We will end our festivities with a parade.

Please notify your child’s teacher if you will be able to join us!
